Application Genesis was started in 1993 to provide software development products and services to the AS/400 market place.

With the explosion of PCs in the work place, native AS/400 development tools seem to be a little neglected, yet there are still many developers who are using either green screens, or 5250 emulation only for AS/400 software development. Also, there are some tools that can provide richer functionality when built on the AS/400 than can be obtained from a generic PC and/or Unix based product. It is to this market that Application Genesis brings high quality, moderately priced development tools and services.
